This past weekend 3 friends and I visited brygselv.dk to brew some beer. I had never tried to brew before so this was a totally new experience for me. It is fortunately pretty easy. You first decide on what kind of beer you want to brew and then you get a recipe and simply follow the guide. It takes around 2 hours and then you schedule a time 2-3 weeks later to come and bottle the brew. All in all it was quite fun to try and I look forward to tasting the result :)
We choose to brew 2 different batches, a Belgian Trippel and an IPA. We followed the recipe for the Belgian Trippel pretty accurately, but for the IPA, we decided to experiment and changed the recipe. You add hops in 3 steps and (just so we can remember this ourselves) we added this in our brew:
1) 100 gram Willamette
2) 80 gram Cascade
3) 100 gram Willamette
Not to forget: They of course have a selection of the beers on tap for you to taste and drink while you brew :)
After that, we moved on to Carlsens Kvarter, a great pub in Odense where we had a very nice evening together with some beers:

Midtfyns Bryghus - Påskebryg: A quite nice Easter brew!

Inslev Bryggeri - Sort Hvede: Don't think I've had this style of beer before, this is quite a good brew though, smokey!

BrewDog Mikkeller - Devine Rebel: A quite strong and resonably good beer but I'm not that big a fan of it.

De Molen - Hel and Verdoemenis (Hell and Damnation): "Star of the night", this is one heck of an imperial stout!
